I always feel kind of weird writing my bio in the third person perspective, so, I’m not going to do that here. 
 

👋 Hi, I’m Christiane

Tattooer, artist, cat mom, and wife.

I started tattooing in Berlin, Germany in 2010, but my love for art goes way back. When I was five, I told my parents I wanted to be a painter—and I guess I stuck to that, just with a twist. These days, I mostly paint on people.

 

🎨 My Style

I specialize in realistic tattooing and surrealism. I love working closely with clients to create designs that are personal, thoughtful, and totally one-of-a-kind.
In my free time, I still draw and paint (mostly in oils), and I’m forever inspired by classic techniques and bold imagery.

 

✍️ My Journey

I worked in several shops across Germany before coming to Pittsburgh, PA in 2016 to study art at CCAC and dive deeper into painting, art history and develop my artistic skills. 

After graduating, I began tattooing at an established studio in Pittsburgh—where I was able to blend my fine art training with my tattoo experience.

 

🖤 Opening Hexed Tattoo

In early 2021, I started dreaming about opening my own private space—somewhere quiet, comfortable, and built around the client experience.

With the support of my amazing husband and both our families, that dream became a reality. In May 2022, Hexed Tattoo officially opened its doors.

Tattooing is personal—both for you and for me. I love connecting with other artists, sharing ideas, and pushing myself to keep learning and growing.
